Reclaim Your Wild Potential – The Marmite Edition
Here’s the question I can’t stop asking currently:
“What are you reclaiming to unleash your wild potential?”
Most answers are honest, heartfelt. But if I’m being straight, just a bit vague and beige.
“Permission to be me.”
“Permission to say no.”
“Permission to be my most authentic self.”
“Permission to speak up.”
Nice. But safe.
Still a little good girl.
Still not quite claiming the full technicolour and specific truth of what you want.
Who are you waiting for permission from to claim what you really want?
And why default to vague virtues, instead of calling out the thing?
What do you actually want?
Think about it. Specifically.
Maybe it’s.
More money.
More sleep.
More time to read.
More sex.
More visibility.
More power and more strut-into-the-boardroom-like-you-own-it energy?
Maybe it’s a cleaner. Better coffee in the morning. Or something else.
Say it. Write it down. Whisper it, shout it, sing it if you must.
And notice how it feels in your body? Because the body knows the score.
If it makes you feel a bit bold, a bit scared, a bit giddy, a bit “who am I to want that?”—great. That means you’re onto something.
Because who are you not to want it?
You don’t need to shrink it to make it palatable.
You don’t need to wait for permission.
You’re already allowed.
But choose. And then take action.
Because if nothing changes, nothing changes.
Name it. Build your plan. And move towards it.
Your future self will thank you for it.
