No More Ripped Toast
Just because you can, doesn’t mean you should.
And so, after nearly three years into my business, I’m taking my own advice, and I’ve made a pivot.
My HR consultancy practice is officially closed.
HR retainers, culture strategy gigs that feel more tick-box than transformation and settlement agreement mind games had to go.
I’ve done the work. Good work. With good people.
And maybe some not-so-good ones too.
I’ve sat in too many meetings watching ideas die politely in PowerPoint, while real change, the kind that humans actually need, gets sidelined for something more comfortable and sanitised.
And whilst that’s played out, I’ve realised I’m much more Pink Pony Club, than PWC.
So, I’ve been asking myself some much better questions, including my oldie but goodie, “what I am tolerating that’s been holding me back”.
And the answer is the one I’ve coached others toward for years.
Clutter and noise have been holding me back. Mainly other peoples. Which then created my own.
And the answer all along was always, Do Fewer Things Better.
Work with fewer, but brighter, people.
Who actually do give a shit about themselves, their own wellbeing and their influence and impact on others.
And stop spreading myself so thin that I tear the metaphorical toast because I haven’t had time to get the butter to ambient. (I know that you know. Rushed butter = exhausted soul)
So, I’m saying no.
To what drains.
To what dilutes.
And saying yes to something more aligned.
One powerful partnership, with a brilliant, values-led organisation nurturing the next generation with real intention.
And to coaching and supporting quietly powerful, creatively brilliant heart centred leaders reclaim their voice, visibility, and reclaim their value.
Bold moves.
Quiet power.
Wild potential.
So, if that’s the kind of thing you’re here to hear more about, I’d love you to stay.
To my HR clients of the last 2.5 years, a big heartfelt thank you.
You’ve taught me so much. And I’ve loved building with you.
But the path forked. And I’m choosing it, and me.
And I hope you choose what’s right for you too.
With love,
Tamsyn x
